Primers & Sealers

ADFLEX WBE is a primer/sealer that provides excellent adhesion with ease of application as a primer for Adflex WAM FR, AdflexUltra, Rimseal & DeckPro membranes compliance with current Australian Standards. ADFLEX WBE has excellent adhesion to damp or dry surfaces, far superior to conventional primer sealers. ADFLEXWBE may be applied to concrete, asbestos sheeting, cement (fibro)sheeting, brick, plaster, stone, blockwork and other surfaces.

ADFLEX WBP is a general-purpose single-part, low-viscosity, water-based primer. Specifically formulated to seal dusty or porous surfaces prior to the application of Adflex water-based membranes. AdflexWBP is environmentally safe and easy to use.

PURPOSE:
To prime and seal well, prepare substrates in order to maximise bond strength between the substrate and the Adflex water-based membrane/coating. To seal porous surfaces in order to eliminatepotential blistering and pin-holing of the final membrane/coating.

SEALER A is a high-quality, two-part, water-based epoxy primer. Sealer-A remains tacky for a considerable time, allowing a chemical bond reaction with the next coat once crosslinked and cured.

TYPICAL USES:
To provide optimum bonding to concrete surfaces. It provides excellent adhesion to the concrete surface and to the subsequent coatings to be applied. Also suitable for asphalt, plywood, composite boards, etc.Particularly suitable on dense concrete where adhesion is a concern.

POLYBOND B is a fast-drying, single-pack polyurethane primer for use with all Adcrete Rimseal and DeckPro polyurethane-based membranes and with Adflex WAM FR Ultra.

USES:
Polybond B Clear Primer is used for all polyurethane-based and water base membranes once fully cured and may be applied to most rigid substrates used in construction, including concrete masonry, off-form concrete, in-situ concrete slabs and topping, shotcrete and cement render, pre-cast concrete panels, compressed fibre cement sheet, timber, plywood and many other surfaces.

TRUBOND is a single-component solvent base with low viscosity and low VOC primer.

PURPOSE:
To prime porous and friable surfaces and to promote optimal adhesion ofsubsequent coats to the ADFLEX water-based membrane such as the AdflexARM -Acrylic Roof Membrane, Adflex WAM FR – Wet Area Membranes, andmany other water-based coatings.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:

• To be applied to various prepared surfaces for the enhancement of adhesion for acrylic coatings and polyurethane sealants, and other high performance Adcrete coatings.
• To promote inter-coat adhesion between new and existing coatings.
• As primer when sealing. P.C. panels.

CLEAR SEAL is a water-based sealer formulated specifically for use as a concrete and masonry sealer that dries to a clear finish. It is non-yellowing, non-staining and environmentally friendly. CLEAR SEAL provides excellent waterproofing and weather resistance when applied over brick, terrazzo, slate and other interior and exterior masonry surfaces. CLEAR SEAL also provides an excellent protective barrier for masonry floor surfaces.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:

• Waterproofing – brick, stone, terracotta, concrete, stucco, exposed aggregate, plaster and cement mortar joints.
• Sealing – driveways, concrete pavers, exposed aggregate, stamp pattern concrete, car park floors.

HARD-N-SEAL is a non-toxic, non-flammable, clear water-based liquid silicate solution that penetrates the surface substrate and chemically reacts to form a hard, insoluble crystalline sealer. This chemical reaction densifies the surface, which will withstand constant daily abrasion from vehicular tyres, forklifts, trolleys and other traffic.

RECOMMENDED USES:

• Concrete Roads:
• Concrete Substrates or Concrete Block Wall
• Water Tanks.
• Roof Slabs.
• Floors to Sugar Mills, Dairies, and Piggeries.
• Heavy traffic areas.

RAINCOTE WB is a water-based siloxane-silane solution that penetrates into concrete or masonry to provide long-term weatherproofing protection. RAINCOTE is a single-component product that is ready to use. No on-site blending or dilution is required.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:
RAINCOTE WB penetrates the substrate and chemically reacts with and bonds to the concrete or masonry surface. RAINCOTE WB provides outstanding long-term weatherproof protection for all types of concrete and masonry surfaces. In addition to these excellent protective qualities, RAINCOTE WB provides a permeable moisture vapour barrier that allows the substrate to ‘breathe’.

GUARDSEAL SB combines medium to hard thermoplastic copolymer resins formulated with a special blend of aromatic solvents. GUARDSEAL, if fast drying, has excellent resistance to water, alkalis, mild chemicals, rubber migration, excellent weathering, and UV resistance.

PURPOSE:
To provide an economical, hard-wearing surface finish to new or old, plain or coloured concrete and masonry surfaces. To penetrate and seal the surface prevent dusting, and staining, reduce corrosion and generally enhance the surface appearance. The faster-than-normal drying characteristics of GUARDSEAL allow treated surfaces to be used earlier.

RIMSEAL PU 40 Rapid is a high-performance Rapid Curing single-component polyurethane sealant. When cured, it will form a tough, flexible seal and bond capable of cyclic, expansion and compression movement. Joints or fabrications formed with this sealant can be expected to extend and compress a total of 50%(±25%) of original joint dimensions. Rimseal PU40R is virtually unaffected by normal weathering conditions such as rain, sunlight, ultra-violet, atmospheric contamination and pollution. Its excellent weather ability enables it to retain its original properties after years of exposure. Its physical properties remain relatively unchanged over a wide temperature range (-40°C to 70 ̊C)
